I'm NOT a career politician. I haven't run for multiple offices in the past nor am I mapping out my next political endeavor if not elected. To date, District 2 Commissioner is the only office my interest has been sparked by. A unique mix of urban, rural and residential neighborhoods makes up St. Joseph County District 2. The townships are: Center, Greene, Liberty, Lincoln, Madison, Olive. Some portions of Penn, Portage, Union and Warren townships are also included.
My vision began several years ago. As a 11 year St. Joseph County employee I had an insider view on how mis-managed our local Government was on many issues. As a result, resources have been cut or eliminated affecting County employees and their departments which eventually trickled down to the community sector.
It is critical for a county Commissioner to have a positive and constructive working relationship with other leaders in both the public and private sectors. I have gained the trusted rapport with citizens and municipal officials and public safety agencies. I have earned respect and appreciation of numerous elected officials, community leaders and friends through my work, my dedication to honesty and integrity in all that I do and my pursuit of the truth. I stand ready to make a difference from the very beginning.
I bring to you small town values and trust along with big town experience and knowledge. Voters deserve a great deal of information about candidates before being asked to cast their ballot. My website will expand as time goes on to cover more issues in greater detail; giving voters a thorough look at where I stand before choosing their next County Commissioner. I hope to meet as many of you, the residents and taxpayers of District 2 as I possibly can. In the meantime, I invite you to get to know me a little better through this website.
